SOUNDTRACK TO THE WILD – THE MUSIC OF FEROX WEST
Posted on feroxwest.com
Ferox West isn’t just a brand. It’s a movement. It’s cracked knuckles on a cold engine block. It’s the buzz of surf wax on fiberglass. It’s chasing the high of a sunrise after a night under the stars. And through it all, there’s music—loud, raw, soulful, and rebellious.
Our soundtrack is the soul of who we are. We don’t follow trends. We don’t curate playlists to please algorithms. We chase what moves us. What speaks to the fire inside. The music we love is gritty, timeless, and unapologetically real—just like the way we live.
From Jimi Hendrix’s blistering solos that sound like freedom in motion, to Public Enemy’s unapologetic truths. From the deep, hypnotic pulse of Portishead and Massive Attack, to the sun-drenched haze of Sublime and the soul of James Brown—our taste is wide-ranging, but it’s all cut from the same cloth: passion, defiance, and soul.
These are the sounds that echo through garage walls and mountain canyons. That blare from busted speakers in the back of a van, parked up by a wild coast or tucked into a woodland track. Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Bob Marley, Reef—they're not just names to us. They’re part of the culture that raised us.
You’ll hear it in our workshop, on the road, at the crag, and around the campfire. The guitars howl, the beats hit hard, and the lyrics cut deep. This music is a call to adventure. A reminder to move, to live, to not get comfortable. To push further into the unknown.
Just like the films that inspire our style—Easy Rider, Dazed and Confused, American Graffiti, Valley Uprising, Bullitt, Snatch, The Gentlemen—our music is rooted in rebellion, speed, soul, and grit.
Ferox West stands for the adrenaline seekers. For the wild ones. For those who live loud and full-throttle. Our gear reflects it. Our rides reflect it. And our sound? That’s what fuels it all.
So if you ever wanted to know what Ferox West sounds like, imagine this:
A motorbike tearing down a desert road with Led Zeppelin in your ears.
Clipping into a boulder problem as Massive Attack vibrates through your bones.
A crackling campfire under stars, Neil Young on a battered tape deck.
First light on the waves, wetsuit zipped, and Portishead spilling from a tinny Bluetooth speaker.
That's us. That’s Ferox West.
We live by instinct. We move to the rhythm of the wild.
And this—this is the music that keeps us going.
